Lead a growing charitable foundation that has granted over $1 million to support vulnerable youth across the Fraser Valley.

The Fraser Valley REALTORS Charitable Foundation (FVRCF) is dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable youth across Abbotsford, Langley, Mission, North Delta, Surrey, and White Rock. Now in its fourth year of active granting, the Foundation has grown into a fully operational, community-impacting organization that recently surpassed a major milestone: $1 million granted to youth-serving charities.

This role is ideal for an entrepreneurial fundraising and community-development professional who thrives in a small, high-impact organization. The Executive Director will strengthen donor relationships, expand awareness of FVRCF’s mission, oversee granting and bursary programs, and represent the Foundation across the charitable and real estate communities.

  • Lead administration of the Bursary Program, including promotion, fundraising, donor stewardship, and recognition.
  • Share the outcomes and stories of FVRCF investments to demonstrate community impact.

Public Awareness & Community Engagement

  • Increase visibility of the FVRCF through strategic communications, storytelling, partnerships, events, and media engagement.
  • Serve as a spokesperson, alongside the Board Chair.
  • Build collaborative relationships with REALTORS, grantees, government partners, businesses, and charitable-sector organizations.

Operations & Financial Management

  • Oversee budgeting, financial management, bookkeeping, reporting, and annual planning cycles.
  • Ensure strong financial controls and compliance with BC and federal charitable regulations.
  • Provide leadership and accountability for staff and contractors.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 5 years of senior leadership experience in the non-profit or charitable sector.
  • Experience working with a Board of Directors and multiple committees.
  • Proven success in fund development, donor relations, and public awareness initiatives.
  • Experience with grant-making and bursary or scholarship administration.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and public-speaking skills.
  • Financial acumen, including budgeting and financial oversight.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, and donor databases.
  • Post-secondary degree or equivalent; CFRE, CAGP, or AFP credentials are strong assets.
