Fraser Valley REALTORS® Charitable Foundation Welcomes New Board Leadership, Pledges $350,000+ to Support At-Risk Youth in 2025

The Fraser Valley REALTORS® Charitable Foundation (FVRCF), dedicated to supporting at-risk youth in the Fraser Valley, proudly announces the election of a new Board of Directors and its plan to distribute over $350,000 in grants to local initiatives in 2025.

David Herman, a seasoned Realtor with RE/MAX 2000 in Surrey, BC, has been appointed Chair of the FVRCF Board. With over 40 years of experience in real estate and a distinguished record of leadership—including terms as Chair of the Fraser Valley Real Estate Board (FVREB), the British Columbia Real Estate Association (BCREA), and service with the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA)—David brings exceptional governance expertise and a longstanding commitment to community engagement and youth empowerment.

“I’m honoured to step into the role of Chair and work alongside a passionate and visionary team of directors,” said Herman. “Together, we will build on the legacy of our founding and outgoing Chairs, whose dedication has created real change for at-risk youth. I’m excited for what lies ahead and deeply committed to the mission that unites us.”

The Foundation extends heartfelt gratitude to outgoing Board members for their years of service and leadership. “We stand on the shoulders of those who have worked tirelessly before us,” added Herman. “Their legacy is reflected in every youth supported and every dollar granted.”
