Fraser Valley REALTORS® Charitable Foundation Grants $340,000 to 22 Charities Across the Region
The Fraser Valley REALTORS® Charitable Foundation (FVRCF) is excited to announce the 22 local charitable organizations that are receiving $340,000 in grants for 2024. This generous funding will support programs and initiatives designed to help young people overcome barriers and build brighter, more promising futures.
FVRCF’s continued commitment to the region’s youth is evident through its focus on supporting projects that provide education, mentorship, mental health support, and life skills development. The 22 organizations selected for funding were chosen based on their impactful work with youth facing significant challenges such as poverty, mental health struggles, and limited access to essential resources and opportunities.
“At-risk youth are a key part of our communities, and it is essential that we support them with the tools, guidance, and opportunities they need to succeed,” said John Barbisan, Chair of the FVRCF. “We are grateful to partner with these outstanding organizations that are making a meaningful difference in the lives of youth across the Fraser Valley.”
This round of funding marks an important milestone, bringing the total amount distributed by the FVRCF to over $530,000 in just two years. This remarkable achievement reflects the ongoing generosity of Fraser Valley Realtors®.
The FVRCF remains deeply committed to its mission of making the Fraser Valley a place where no child is left behind. Through this most recent round of grants, the Foundation continues to demonstrate its dedication to improving the lives of vulnerable youth who will go on to shape the future of British Columbia.
